We are two chefs who met while working at the Sommerro Hotel in Oslo — one from Slovenia, the other from Greece. Brought together by our shared passion for food, we became friends in the kitchen and decided to carry the flavors of our Mediterranean roots to the tables of Oslo.

A Frustration Sparked an Idea

We soon realised we shared the same frustration: in Norway, quality ingredients like olive oil are available, but they’re often overpriced and lack transparency.

That’s why we founded Atromitos AS — “Atromitos” meaning fearless in Greek — to bring honest, authentic olive oil to Oslo at a fair price.

We go directly to the farmers — walking the groves, tasting their oils, and building trust face to face. By importing small batches of fresh, honest, premium products with no middlemen, we ensure both quality and fairness at every step.

From Their Hands to Your Kitchen

We collaborate with family-owned producers who bottle for us directly at the source. This way, the same care and authenticity found in their groves is delivered straight to both home cooks and professional kitchens across Norway.
